Johnson died in July at 79. He was a former member of Mike
Sheridan and The Nightriders
which was the Brummie band of Jeff Lynne, Roy Wood and the Idle
Race. Jeff Lynne and Roy Wood should have produce
his solo
album in 1971 but it never happened. Alan "Big Al"

singer Thomas Walsh posted an unseen photo of Jeff Lynne on The Idle Race Fan Club Facebook page.
It was taken at the BBC Pebble Mill Studios in Birmingham (UK) on 1969
and comes from a rare book on BBC.
Thomas Walsh is friend with Jeff Lynne. He showed him this photo but he
couldn't remember about it. He said: 'Wow! I bloody loved that
cardigan. Wore it all the time". The identity of the 2 other musicians
remains a mystery...

Doug
Bogie was the third bassist of Queen (before John Deacon). He was also
junior engineer in the De Lane Lea studios in London from 1971 to 1973.
He
worked with the engineer Dick Plant on the album "On The Third Day" by
Electric Light Orchestra. He posted these unseen photos with this
caption: "Found these old negs I shot during the recording of "On The
Third Day"... Jeff Lynne writing lyrics in Studio 2 and probably
wishing I'd bugger off... Richard Tandy and Jeff in Studio 3 control
room all at De Lane Lea Wembley. Most of these sessions started in the
afternoon and went on into the early hours...."

bone cancer on 09 May. Jeff Lynne produced his re-recorded
version of "Good Golly Miss Molly" in 1991.
He plays bass and guitar on it. Ringo Starr is on drums and
Jim Horn on saxophone. This version was used in the movie "King
Ralph".
